Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice

The Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice is a member group of 156 peace and justice organizations in Wisconsin. These organizations share information and outreach for the goal of peace. “The purpose of the Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice is to facilitate activities, operation, and communication among Wisconsin organizations and individuals working toward the creation of a world free from violence and injustice.”

Fighting Bob

Fighting Bob is a nonprofit, nonpartisan online opinion magazine that provides an educational forum for writers, viewpoints and topics not welcome on the pages and airwaves of most mainstream media outlets in Wisconsin. We aim to honor and revive the spirit and mission of our namesake, Robert “Fighting Bob” La Follette, the populist governor, U.S. Senator, and presidential candidate from Wisconsin who founded the Progressive Party and spent his career battling the corrupting, impoverishing and anti-democratic influence of big moneyed interests over government and public policy. 

Anna In The Middle East 

Anna Baltzer is a 28 -year-old Jewish American Columbia graduate, Fulbright scholar, and the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors. She is a three-time volunteer with the International Women's Peace Service (IWPS), where she documented human rights abuses in the West Bank and supported the nonviolent movement against the Occupation. She has spent most of the past few years in Palestine or on tour with her book, Witness in Palestine: A Jewish American Woman in the Occupied Territories.

The Des Moines Catholic Worker Community

Established in 1976, this organization responds to the Gospel call to compassionate action as summarized by the Sermon on the Mount.  In the spirit of the Catholic Worker tradition, we are committed to a simple, nonviolent lifestyle as we live and work among the poor.

Musical Missions of peace

From 2002 to 2005 Cameron and Kristina carried their Musical Mission of Peace through Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, the West Bank and Egypt
